Murphy's law is in play: Ndamukong Suh in car accident
December 06, 2011When it rains, it pours.
What can go wrong, will go wrong.
Nothing good ever happens after midnight.
Ndamukong Suh should take all of the above to heart, as he football Gods have decided to pile on.
There's more bad news for the 2nd year defensive tackle, though it doesn't involve stomping on Green Bay Packers, but stomping on the gas pedal of a Chevy. The Oregonian in Portland reports Suh was in an early Saturday morning car accident. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Ndamukong Suh, a defensive tackle for the Detroit Lions on suspension for two NFL games, crashed his car into a tree early Saturday morning in downtown Portland. He and two passengers were not injured.
Suh, 24, reportedly lost control of a 1970 Chevrolet Coupe while he was driving south on 3rd Avenue. When he crossed Burnside Street, he crashed into a curb, light pole, a drinking fountain and a tree.
Portland police responded at about 1:15 a.m. and determined that Suh was not impaired. He simply lost control of the car, Simpson said. Suh cooperated with the investigation and his car was towed from the scene, police said.
Forget the Curse of Bobby Layne, it has nothing on the Curse of Ndamukong Suh.
